Shaolin TaiChi
Qi, focus, and better health — for every age

Shaolin Tai Chi
Shaolin-style Tai Chi focuses on internal training, qi, and meditation. The movements are slow and gentle yet powerful, building health, easing stress, and improving flexibility.
You begin with stretching and Qi Gong, then gradually learn the Tai Chi forms — from the beginner-friendly Yang-style 24 forms all the way to Chen-style Tai Chi and weapon forms for seasoned practitioners.

Breathe With the Belly, Not the Chest
Correct breathing is the heart of Tai Chi — exercising the internal organs along with the body
Ordinary Breathing
Inhale → lungs rise
Exhale → lungs lower
Uses only the upper lungs, never working the internal organs
Tai Chi Breathing
Inhale → belly expands (the lungs press everything down into the abdomen)
Exhale → belly contracts (the lungs return to place)
This exercises the internal organs — the heart of Tai Chi

How Master Zhu Teaches
He teaches every detail, but in the end each student must discover the inner feeling for themselves
Dantian (丹田)
The center of energy below the navel — every movement must begin from this point
Fa Li (发力)
Releasing power — knowing the moment to explode with force and the moment to stay soft
Breathing
Inhale deep into the belly, exhale slowly, in harmony with every movement
Slow & Fast
Knowing when to be slow and when to be fast — rhythm is the heart of Tai Chi
Master Zhu teaches every step — how to move, how to breathe, how to use the body. But the most important thing is for students to discover the inner feeling for themselves. At times he will show that a Tai Chi movement which looks gentle can truly be used for self-defense.
“Live each day, let your heart follow what is meant to be, stay in the present — that is Tai Chi.”
— Master Zhu
